I've been working on this for the past several days and have finally finished it to my satisfaction (or, at least, as satisfied as I'm going to be with it).
I was inspired to do this after a rejection from a portfolio. I liked the subject matter/theme as it was and even if I wasn't good enough for it, I felt it was still a fun idea and wanted to try it out on my own. I mainly wanted to prove to myself that I could at least be happy with my art, even if others weren't. I may do a couple of more along this theme simply because I like drawing glowing things. This picture challenged me, though. I only hope that the work put into it will be appreciated.
If this is a sample of your work, I have no idea why your portfolio was rejected, becuase this is amazing. The subject is interesting--not an anthro you see every day. The detail on his fur and on the background is excellent as well, and you are very good at drawing glowing things. ^_^ awesome work!

That is one hella' tight pic. The anatomy was the first thing that really got my attention, and the detail you put in to everything is superb. This is one of the best furry luminesque pics I've seen yet. It would make a badass poster! 8O
AWESOME! Definatly the best of your work texture and lighting-wise, not that you lag in those talents at all. I can see how this would be a bit time consumption.
Holy... wow. Kristin, my heart seriously stopped when this first opened up on my screen. Like, I could feel it in my chest. This is absolutely amazing. Your recent pieces have been, like, "HAHA LEVEL UP 10 TIMES SUCKAS!!!" *has to laugh*
Your anthro work is faking sweet. Add to that glowiness, an awesome scene, and colors that fit together perfectly and... dang.
I usually don't see many rabbit anthros done too well, if any at all... it's definitely not a species that many artists try to work with seriously. But this is defninitely a serious job, and you bet your Dixie britches it shows.
Amazing! No, really! The glowy stuff? (dang, I love the glowy mushrooms. And everything glowy for that matter.) You're getting so . . . danged . . . GOOD! Won't be any time at all before you'll leave us all in the dust! Congrats on an absolutely amazing picture!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
