Artist's Comments
This was a recent commission for LemonDrop! I think his description of the situation sums it up pretty well:
"Story behind the commission: Human princess breaks open a medium size box and out pops a faun, the reward the princess receives...she is transformed into a unicorn by the faun and in turn becomes the faun's ride! The princess thought the box contained gold, her greed got the best of her... The unicorn has a surprised "look" upon its face, moments before she was a human princess! The faun is looking at her "handiwork" has she holds her pan-pipes in one hand and in the other hand she is holding a horse's bridle! Also in the scene...a medium sized open box from which the faun was released from, and beside it...a hammer and chisel and a broken lock and of course the princess's golden crown." I'm happy with how this turned out and my commissioner was, too!  Both characters belong to him, I believe. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
